For those of you who haven't watched it, you don't know what you're missing out on. Then again, it's for smart people only. You Yankee sitcom lover types... this may be a little too much for ya.

Blackadder is indeed fantastic, one of the best sitcoms around. But if you are bashing the US for producing stupid sitcoms, then blame yourself for only watching crap. US has produced some great sitcoms as well, example: Curb your enthusiasm, Arrested Development, the Larry Sanders Show, Seinfeld. These are also very intelligent, funny programs, that you insult yourself by not watching.

There are plenty of good and poor comedys in the US, but the same over here in the UK. For example, "two pints of lager and a packet of crisps".
